PDM is an initiative of the Discipleship Deans operation of Covenant Word Ministries (CWM), and is aligned to the strategic framework (Purpose, Vision and Mission) of the CovenantWords Alliance - covenantwords.org
At PDM, we bring together men and women in Christ who are committed to building farms and discipleship relationships that inspire transformative change in homesteads and farmsteads on a parish-wide scale across rural Uganda.
At Covenant Word Ministries(CWM) we work with our partners to identify
recognise and reward household heads who are progressively moving from
vision to value along God's value chain of a bibilical homestead/farmstead.
Here are some of areas to participate in the Challenge.
Explore NowWhen we talk about the homestead, we mean “the home and adjoining land occupied by a family” (Webster Dictionary, 1828). That’s because you are called to possess and make fruitful your homestead as one of the places your feet tread upon the most: “Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you…” (Joshua 1:3, KJV)
Here is our working definition of a farmstead: “the buildings and adjacent service areas of a farm” (Webster Dictionary, 1828). We are keen about the service areas of your farm – are they clean, orderly, innovative and sustainable? Answers to these and other related questions is what are looking to celebrate and reward you for. Want to know why? Read our Assessment Criteria.
Cut through the noise of the many and often confusing definitions of a community. When we talk community at PADI Mission we mean “people with common interests living in a particular area” (Webster Dictionary, 1828). That common area in our case is the Parish.
